Since October 2007, I have been working as a freelancer in the fields of trend scouting, collection concepts and print design for several international fashion and textile companies.
Prior to this, I was permanently employed at TOM TAILOR Holding AG in Hamburg for seven years; two years as fashion designer in the division WOMEN CASUAL and five years as a graphic designer for the divisions WOMEN CASUAL, BOYS and MINI BOYS. In the latter two years of my employment I managed the graphic design team for the KIDS divisions.
Having studied at the University of Applied Sciences in Trier and the University of Art and Design in Helsinki, I graduated in 2000 as a fashion designer.
Schooled in both fields, I combine fashion and graphic design, possessing both the technical understanding and creative edge to offer high-quality layouts.
Quick, precise and with a keen sense, I understand the varying nature of customer and brand requirements, and work with a holistic comprehension of the processes involved in the whole creation of a collection. Furthermore my clients benefit from my knowledge through permanent competitor and market monitoring, including regular fair visits and store-checks both domestically and abroad.
For my clients, this signifies a high creative input requiring a minimal organizational effort from them. My results are always and exactly customised to the respective demands of my clients and can be used as ready-made artworks for production.
My working method is trend-oriented, powerful and focused on market and brand conditions. It’s my ambition to support my clients in creating collections with a high fashion level and to offer new and brand-oriented accents. This means being innovative and producing a tailored, commercially usable and target-group focused collection.
